When ever weather in the High country occasionally closes a road or blocks a route with landslides Skyline wants you to know how get around them to your destination.

Parkway open:
The Parkway is now open except at Mileposts 345 at Rt 80. It is closed to accommodate the repair of the Twin Tunnels between Rt 8 and Mt. Mitchell. The Forest Service states it will be completed and opened before the end of April.
