The Skyline Inn and Cafe is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, Milepost 331, Gillespie Gap, at the intersection of Highway 226, Highway 226A, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Perched on the eastern Continental Divide and the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our elevation approaches a cool 3,000 feet above sea level. The Skyline offers spectacular views of mountains and valleys far below.
The Skyline is open year-round and is centrally located to many area attractions, including the Blue Ridge Parkway Mineral Museum and Visitor Center, Emerald Village, Mt. Mitchell State Park, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mtn. and many others. We are midway between Asheville and the Boone/Blowing Rock area, making this an ideal spot from which to visit and roam the mountains.
