Enjoy dining in the Skyline Cavern Tavern, the best and most
popular medium-priced restaurant on the Parkway. The Dining
room features marble flooring and walls, several hand made
wood inlay tables with thousands of intricate pieces as well
as other eclectic décor.
The Cavern Tavern is best known for its great lunch and
dinner menus featuring the best hamburgers on the planet,
great vinegar based BBQ sandwiches, BBQ Ribs, Ribeye Steaks
and, if you call in advance, we can prepare a fine selection of vegetarian
foods. The Skyline also has the best selection of wines and
beers on the Parkway.
We have added to the ambience of dining at the
Skyline
by building a new deck seating about 60 people and
overlooking the Catawba Valley. It turned out beautifully
and is becoming a very popular place to enjoy dining with a
great view.
Winter Hours in Tavern are limited. We use winter to
remodel and address maintenance issues we do not have time
to complete during our peak season of May -October. Please
